TNews, PURAWAKARTA \u2013<\/strong> Purwakarta bersiap menghadapi puncak musim kekeringan yang diprediksi melanda wilayahnya mulai Agustus ini. Sebagai langkah antisipasi, puluhan ribu liter air bersih telah disiapkan oleh Pemerintah Kabupaten (Pemkab) Purwakrta untuk didistribusikan kepada warga yang kesulitan memperoleh air bersih.<\/p>\n

Heryadi Erlan, Kepala BPBD Kabupaten Purwakarta, menjelaskan bahwa kekeringan yang terjadi diperkirakan akan berdampak signifikan pada ketersediaan air bersih di sejumlah wilayah.<\/p>\n

“Kita sudah siapkan lebih dari 52.500 liter air bersih untuk membantu warga. Ini adalah langkah proaktif untuk memastikan kebutuhan dasar masyarakat tetap terpenuhi,” ungkapnya pada Rabu, 14 Agustus 2024.<\/p>\n

Armada tangki air bersih juga disiagakan di 88 titik yang tersebar di 13 kecamatan yang berpotensi mengalami kekurangan air. Setiap armada tangki akan didampingi oleh tiga petugas untuk memastikan proses distribusi berjalan lancar. Kecamatan-kecamatan yang diprioritaskan antara lain Babakancikao, Tegalwaru, Pasawahan, Sukasari, Pondoksalam, Kiarapedes, Purwakarta, Plered, Sukatani, Wanayasa, Bojong, Jatiluhur, dan Darangdan.<\/p>\n

Kepala Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika Purwakarta, Rudi Hartono, menambahkan bahwa Pj Bupati Benni Irwan telah menginstruksikan jajarannya untuk mengambil langkah mitigasi yang tepat. “Apresiasi penuh diberikan kepada BPBD atas kesiapan mereka. Ini menunjukkan keseriusan Pemkab Purwakarta dalam mengatasi dampak kekeringan yang dialami warga,” jelas Rudi.<\/p>\n

Kesiapan yang ditunjukkan Pemkab Purwakarta tidak hanya menjadi bukti kepedulian pemerintah daerah terhadap warganya, tetapi juga memperlihatkan komitmen dalam menjaga kestabilan pasokan air bersih selama musim kering.<\/p>\n
