TNews, KARAWANG \u2013 <\/strong>\u00a0Pemerintah pusat melalui Direktorat Jenderal Prasarana dan Sarana Pertanian (Ditjen PSP) Kementerian Pertanian (Kementan) terus mendorong percepatan tanam padi sebagai langkah strategis memperkuat ketahanan pangan nasional. Kabupaten Karawang, Jawa Barat, menjadi salah satu wilayah prioritas dengan potensi percepatan tanam mencapai 35 ribu hektare lahan sawah.<\/p>\n

Hal ini disampaikan langsung oleh Direktur Jenderal PSP Kementan, Andi Nur Alamsyah, saat melakukan kunjungan kerja ke Karawang, Senin (19\/5). Dalam pertemuannya dengan Bupati Karawang Aep Syaepuloh dan jajaran pemerintah daerah, Andi menegaskan pentingnya sinergi antara pemerintah pusat dan daerah dalam mendukung produktivitas pertanian.<\/p>\n

“Karawang memiliki posisi strategis sebagai lumbung padi nasional. Dengan intervensi teknologi seperti alat mesin pertanian dan perbaikan irigasi, kami yakin percepatan tanam bisa dilakukan di lahan seluas 35 ribu hektare,” ujar Andi.<\/p>\n

Sebagai bentuk komitmen nyata, Ditjen PSP Kementan menyalurkan bantuan alat mesin pertanian (alsintan) berupa traktor dan combine harvester. Bantuan ini diharapkan mampu mempercepat proses olah tanah dan panen, serta mengurangi ketergantungan terhadap tenaga kerja manual.<\/p>\n

Bupati Aep Syaepuloh menyambut positif program percepatan tanam yang diinisiasi Kementan. Ia mengatakan, Pemerintah Kabupaten Karawang telah lebih dulu menjalankan sejumlah kebijakan pro-petani, salah satunya adalah pembebasan pajak lahan bagi petani kecil.<\/p>\n

“Kami memberikan insentif berupa bebas pajak kepada petani yang lahannya tidak lebih dari tiga hektare, dengan NJOP antara Rp27.000 hingga Rp82.000 per meter persegi. Ini bentuk nyata dukungan kami terhadap ketahanan pangan,” tegas Aep.<\/p>\n

Langkah-langkah percepatan tanam di Karawang ini diharapkan tidak hanya meningkatkan produksi beras nasional, tetapi juga memberikan dampak langsung terhadap kesejahteraan petani dan stabilitas harga pangan di tingkat lokal.<\/p>\n
